Hi, I’m Annie. I have been a licensed stylist since 2006. My history includes hair styling as a Level 3 stylist at Phresh Spa Salon on Grand Ave.
I am honored to have been voted one of the top three stylists of St. Paul in 2016 in St. Paul Magazine.
I also had the pleasure of working with the legendary Al Willette, owner and Master Barber of Lakeshore Stylists from 2006 to 2011.
Aside from cosmetology, I have a Creative Writing degree from the University of Northwestern.
I am all about making hair versatile, and quick to style at home. I love working with you from start to finish for the cut, color, and style you’ve hoped for!
I especially love maximizing fine hair; balayage (ball*e*ahj), sun-kissed brunettes or “natural” blonde hair; micro foils; short pixie and men’s precision cuts; grey-hair blending; creating seamless layers and dimension in lengthy hair; sombre color, asymmetrical bobs, and enhancing naturally wavy hair.
I have a store of solutions to save you from bad hair transitions when growing out your color or cut, or taking your hair shorter! I communicate each step of the service to customize your hair so that it not only looks great, but feels great, too. I love educating you throughout the service, so ask whatever you would like to know about hair!
Hobbies + Interests
I love long hikes on the North Shore, photography, canoeing during dawn or dusk, and adventures—whether it be volcano boarding in Nicaragua or eating at a quaint restaurant in Oregon.
There is nothing better than a delicious meal shared with good friends! I also dabble in editing, freelance writing, hair workshops, coffee-shop lounging, studying nutrition, and acrylic painting. T
he majority of my time off goes to walking my Husky, Rory or napping with my husband and Starbuck, my Maine-Coon cat.
My *I’ve made it in life!* moment will come the day I am playing my ukulele without sheet music and have paid off all of my student loans. Oh, and when everyone I touch is infatuated with their own hair.
